At 309 PM EDT, Emergency management reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Anderson, Noblesville, Elwood, Tipton, Windfall, Westfield, Cicero, Pendleton, Sheridan, Chesterfield, Lapel, Edgewood, Frankton, Arcadia, Atlanta, Sharpsville, Markleville, Kempton, Woodlawn Heights and Country Club Heights.

This includes Interstate 69 between mile markers 215 and 230.
