The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Central Kane County in southern Utah...

* Until 745 PM MDT.

* At 148 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across Lick Wash Slot Canyon down to and including Buckskin Gulch. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen in the upper headwaters near Lick Wash. Additional storms are anticipated to move into the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
