At 135 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Cokedale, or 7 miles west of Trinidad, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, brief pea size hail and torrential rainfall.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Quick runoff will cause ponding of water on roadways and quick rises in creeks, streams and normally dry washes.
Locations impacted include... Trinidad, Cokedale, Starkville, and Boncarbo.
