The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... The Silver King Burn Scar in... Northwestern Piute County in central Utah...
* Until 645 PM MDT.
* At 338 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the Bullion Canyon within the Silver King Burn Scar. Between 0.5 and 0.6 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow moving through the Bullion Canyon. The debris flows are expected to largely remain above Fireman's Park...but residual runoff is expected downstream in Bullion Creek. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.
