.Heavy rainfall last week continues to cause slow rises on the Wabash River. At New Harmony, the river is forecast to climb above flood stage Tuesday, and crest around a half foot above flood stage Thursday.

For the Wabash River...including New Harmony...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHEN...From Tuesday morning to Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, The river overflows low ground on the Illinois side.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 14.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 15.6 feet early Thursday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday afternoon. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
