* Until 530 PM EDT.

* At 426 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over The Center Of The Pamlico Sound, or 8 nm northwest of Hatteras Inlet, moving east at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots and small hail.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
