Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Central Douglas County in northeastern Colorado...

* WHEN...Until 430 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

- At 129 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This may cause small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.

- This includes the following streams and drainages... East Plum Creek, Plum Creek and Cherry Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

- Some locations that will experience flooding include... Castle Rock.
