The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern Garfield County in southern Utah... Southeastern Wayne County in southern Utah...

* Until 815 PM MDT.

* At 319 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the Robbers Roost area near the Dirty Devil River, including Angel, Larry, Alcatraz, and Bull Pasture Canyons down to Two Step Canyon and Bushwack Boogie Canyon near Lake Powell. Up to 0.75 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks, streams, slot canyons, and normally dry washes.
