At 247 PM MDT, National Park Service personnel reported flash flooding occurring in Grand Wash from earlier thunderstorms producing heavy rain across portions of Capitol Reef National Park. This includes Grand Wash, Wonderland Canyon, Timpie Canyon, and Capitol Gorge. Between 0.50 and 1.00 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring.
