.Major river flooding is expected. Heavy rainfall of three to eight or more inches will bring major flooding to area waterways, including the Big Blue River at Shelbyville. Other areas such as the Driftwood near Edinburgh and the Flatrock River at Columbus should expect moderate river flooding as well. At the current time, further downstream locations on the East Fork White can expect minor lowland flooding, but may approach moderate levels.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to early Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 12.5 feet, SR 11 north of CR 200 S flooded. This occurs about once every 1 to 2 years.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:00 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 2.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 12.3 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
