.Rounds of heavy rain has dumped between up to three inches of precipitation along the East Fork White River drainage basin over the past 48 hours, ending at 8 AM EDT this morning. This is bringing flooding to the area. Moderate flooding is ongoing at Shelbyville on the Big Blue River, and is likely to occur at Seymour on the East Fork White River starting today.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...East Fork White River at Columbus.

* WHEN...Until early Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 11.2 feet, State Road 11 in the Garden City area closed at this level during March 2008 flood. Every road leading to or crossing the East Fork White River in Bartholomew County except for State Road 46 was flooded during the bigger March 2008 flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 9.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.1 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday afternoon. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
