.Rounds of heavy rain has dumped between up to three inches of precipitation along the East Fork White River drainage basin over the past 48 hours, ending at 8 AM EDT this morning. This is bringing flooding to the area. Moderate flooding is ongoing at Shelbyville on the Big Blue River, and is likely to occur at Seymour on the East Fork White River starting today.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 17.1 feet, During June 2010, SR 258 east of Cortland was closed for the second time in 10 days.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 AM EDT Friday the stage was 16.9 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:45 AM EDT Friday was 16.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.3 feet just after midnight tonight.
