Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...South Central Guam...especially between Talofofo and Merizo.

* WHEN...Until 515 PM ChST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 313 PM ChST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.8 and 1.6 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.8 to 2.2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Talofofo, Inarajan, Merizo and Umatac. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
