At 1238 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Somerville to North Brunswick Township to Clearbrook Park. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Todt Hill and Port Richmond around 125 PM EDT. Newark and Bayonne around 130 PM EDT. The Verrazano Narrows Bridge and Bay Ridge around 135 PM EDT. Jersey City and Coney Island around 140 PM EDT. Battery Park and Park Slope around 145 PM EDT.
