The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Southern Garfield County in southern Utah... North Central Kane County in southern Utah...

* Until 430 PM MDT.

* At 126 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across areas southeast of Bryce Canyon, including Tropic, Bull Valley Gorge, Willis Creek, Sheep Creek, Herm Pollock Slot Canyon, and upper reaches of the Paria River. Up to 0.75 inches of rain have fallen thus far. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks, streams, slot canyons, and normally dry washes.
