* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Illinois, including the following counties, in north central Illinois, De Kalb. In northeast Illinois, Kane.
* WHEN...Until 400 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At midnight CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bartlett, St. Charles, West Chicago, Batavia, Geneva, Campton Hills, Shabbona, South Elgin, Elburn, Wayne, Valley View, Hinckley, Waterman, Maple Park, Lily Lake, Kaneville and Lee. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
