White River below Eagle Valley Power Plant.

.Very heavy rainfall from Wednesday evening through the overnight of 2 to over 3 inches will bring parts of the middle White back into minor flooding with a second crest and lengthen the amount of time in flood for points downstream. The primary, higher crest is past Spencer and should reach Elliston on Friday and make its way down to Hazleton late Sunday.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...White River at Newberry.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Flood waters block access and begins to surround about 5 to 10 river cabins on south side of the river just southwest of Newberry.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:30 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 14.8 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:30 AM EDT Thursday was 14.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.2 feet Saturday morning.
