* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Southwestern New Castle County in northern Delaware... Northern Kent County in central Delaware... Cumberland County in southern New Jersey... Salem County in southern New Jersey...

* Until 945 PM EDT.

* At 843 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Pennsville to near Port Penn to Glasgow, moving southeast at 45 mph. These storms have a history of producing widespread damaging winds across Chester and northern New Castle Counties.

THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR southern Salem and western Cumberland Counties in New Jersey, and New Castle and northern Kent Counties in Delaware!

HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles. Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

* Locations impacted include... Dover, Newark, Millville, Bridgeton, Middletown, Pennsville, Smyrna, Carneys Point, New Castle, Penns Grove, Salem, Laurel Lake, Woodstown, Alloway, Camden, Clayton, Quinton, Delaware City, Cheswold, and Greenwich.
