* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Northwestern Elbert County in east central Colorado... Southeastern Arapahoe County in northeastern Colorado... Northeastern Douglas County in northeastern Colorado...
* WHEN...Until 830 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 527 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages... Running Creek, Kiowa Creek, Bayou Gulch, Kinney Creek, Murphy Creek, East Toll Gate Creek, Dry Creek, Happy Canyon Creek, Newlin Gulch, Piney Creek, West Toll Gate Creek, Cherry Creek and Coal Creek. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include... Southern Aurora, southeastern Centennial, Parker, The Pinery and Foxfield.
