...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...

Wildcat Creek near Lafayette.

.Heavy rainfall across northern Indiana will make its way into the greater Wabash basin and bring minor lowland flooding along the Wabash and nearby tributaries. Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 2.5 inches through Friday morning in the upper parts of those basins was included in the forecast, so any deviations from that could change the crests and amount of time in flood.

* WHERE...Wildcat Creek near Lafayette.

* WHEN...From late Thursday night to Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Flooding of lowland areas in progress in portions of Tippecanoe County.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:45 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 4.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Friday morning to a crest of 11.8 feet early Friday afternoon.
