* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of North Carolina, including the following counties, Alleghany NC, Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin and southwest Virginia, including the following county, Grayson.

* WHEN...Until 1000 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 720 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated areas of moderate to heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 4 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Big Warrior Creek, Beaver Creek, Bee Tree Branch, Beaverdam Creek, Arnold Branch, Big Pine Creek, Big Bugaboo Creek, Bussels Creek, Brush Creek and Big Sandy Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
