The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for... South Central Bucks County in southeastern Pennsylvania... Southeastern Montgomery County in southeastern Pennsylvania... Central Philadelphia County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 630 PM EDT.

* At 445 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that heavy rain was falling across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding has already been occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Philadelphia, Camden, Bensalem, Bristol, Palmyra, Jenkintown, Beverly, Rockledge, Abington, Langhorne, Bryn Athyn and Northeast Philadelphia.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 19 and 40. Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 348 and 355.
