English River at Kalona affecting Washington and Johnson Counties.

.Based on recent flow data and updated forecast rainfall, the probability of the the lower Iowa River at Wapello and Oakville, and the English River at Kalona reaching flood stage has increased enough to issue flood warnings. Depending upon the overall amount of rainfall, the crest forecasts may end up being a bit lower.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Iowa River at Oakville.

* WHEN...From Saturday morning to Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flooding of agricultural land is ongoing. Several county roads are under water and closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 8.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 13.6 feet Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Monday afternoon. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
