.Based on recent flow data and updated forecast rainfall, the probability of the the lower Iowa River at Wapello and Oakville, and the English River at Kalona reaching flood stage has increased enough to issue flood warnings. Depending upon the overall amount of rainfall, the crest forecasts may end up being a bit lower.

* WHERE...Iowa River at Wapello.

* WHEN...From Saturday morning to Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Water affects residences near the U.S. Highway 61 bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 18.5 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late tomorrow morning to 23.1 feet early Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Monday morning to 20.7 feet Monday evening. It will rise to 20.8 feet early Tuesday afternoon. It will then fall again and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
