Flash Flood Warning

At 543 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported numerous city streets are completely flooded with manholes becoming displaced. Interstate 90 at 11th drive is closed. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Austin, Adams, Rose Creek, Dexter, Mapleview, Elkton, County Roads 56 And 5, Varco and Riverbend Campground.

This includes Interstate 90 in Minnesota between mile markers 175 and 194.
