Special Weather Statement In Effect

Heavy rain will continue early this morning over North Vancouver Island, which could lead to sudden rises in stream levels, enhanced potential for landslides, and localized water-pooling or flooding, especially in areas impacted by summer drought.

The heavy rain will ease to showers later this morning.
