The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Southeastern Iron County in southern Utah... West Central Kane County in southern Utah... East Central Washington County in southwestern Utah...

* Until 315 PM MDT.

* At 1205 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across much of Zion National Park. Up to 0.25 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible across Zion National Park, including the Kolob Canyon area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
