* WHAT...Multiple rounds of heavy rain with an increasing potential for flooding.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, and northeast Kansas, including the following counties, in central Kansas, Dickinson. In east central Kansas, Geary, Morris, Shawnee and Wabaunsee. In north central Kansas, Clay, Cloud, Ottawa, Republic and Washington. In northeast Kansas, Brown, Jackson, Jefferson, Marshall, Nemaha, Pottawatomie and Riley.

* WHEN...Through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A slow-moving, moisture-laden system is expected to bring an additional 1.5 to 3 inches of rain with locally higher amounts around 4 inches. This on top of already saturated ground for locations that saw the heaviest rain last night would see an increased risk for flooding.
