The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern Decatur County in central Indiana... Southern Rush County in central Indiana...

* Until 100 PM EDT.

* At 945 AM EDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.25 to 0.75 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... St. Paul, Milroy, Moscow, Sandusky, Manilla, Arlington, Clarksburg and Lake Santee.

Numerous flooded roadways have been reported across the region. Do not drive into flood waters.
