The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for... Southwestern Decatur County in central Indiana... Southeastern Shelby County in central Indiana... Northeastern Jennings County in southeastern Indiana...

* Until 100 PM EDT.

* At 945 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Shelbyville, Westport, Geneva, St. Paul, Butlerville, Nebraska and Waldron.

Numerous flooded roadways have been reported across the region. Do not drive into flood waters.
