The National Weather Service in Charleston has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for... North Central Barbour County in northeastern West Virginia... Northeastern Harrison County in northern West Virginia... Taylor County in northern West Virginia...

* Until 930 PM EDT.

* At 624 PM EDT, emergency management had numerous reports of high water from across the area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain fell earlier. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Clarksburg, Grafton, Bridgeport, Shinnston, Stonewood, Anmoore, Enterprise, Flemington, McGee, Meadland, Rosemont, Tygart Lake State Park, Knottsville, Thornton and Despard.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 117 and 128. Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 81 and 82.
