The National Weather Service in Charleston has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Barbour County in northeastern West Virginia... Southeastern Harrison County in northern West Virginia... Southwestern Taylor County in northern West Virginia...

* Until 1000 PM EDT.

* At 655 PM EDT, doppler radar indicated prior thunderstorms had produced heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.75 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Clarksburg, Philippi, Stonewood, Nutter Fort, Anmoore, West Milford, Lost Creek, Galloway and Moatsville.

This includes Interstate 79 between mile markers 111 and 117.
