The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Southern Champaign County in east central Illinois... Southern Vermilion County in east central Illinois...

* Until 245 AM CDT.

* At 1132 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Champaign, Urbana, Savoy, Georgetown, Tolono, Westville, Tilton, Catlin, Philo, Sidney, Homer, Ridge Farm, Fairmount, Sidell, Pesotum, Sadorus, Broadlands, Allerton, Ivesdale and Willard Airport.

This includes the following State Parks... Harry Babe Woodyard State Natural Area.

This includes Interstate 57 between mile markers 218 and 233.
