At 1041 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the area with rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour. Up to 2 inches of rainfall has fallen so far. Additional rainfall in excess of 1 inch is possible, especially in northern Lake County.
HAZARD...Flash flooding.

IMPACT...Rapid-onset flooding of creeks, streams, drainage ditches, streets, underpasses, low-lying areas, and other poor drainage areas.
