.Rounds of heavy rain has dumped between 2.50 inches and 5.25 inches of precipitation along the Wabash River over the past 48 hours, ending at 8 AM EDT this morning. This is bringing flooding to most of the Wabash River. At this point in time, all forecast crests are expected to be below moderate flood stage.
Additional rain, on and off, into the new work week is in store, which likely will prolong and possibly worsen flooding.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Terre Haute.
* WHEN...From late tonight to Thursday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 19.5 feet, Water begins to rise in the Izaak Walton Lake. Sheet flowing water begins in the wetland project between U.S. 40 and I-70, and during a prolonged flood event project fills about 75 percent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 AM EDT Friday /9:30 AM CDT Friday/ the stage was 14.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 19.7 feet Monday morning.
