* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible across much of southern Utah through Tuesday evening.
* WHERE...A portion of Utah, including the following areas, Capitol Reef National Park and Vicinity, Glen Canyon Recreation Area/Lake Powell, South Central Utah, Western Canyonlands, Lower Washington County and Zion National Park.
* WHEN...Through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, dry washes, slot canyons, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations such as slickrock areas and recent burn scars including Cottonwood, Widemouth 2, France Canyon, Monroe Canyon, Forsyth, and Silver King.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - While heavy rain is tapering across the area, lingering widespread rainfall will exacerbate impacts in experiencing ongoing flooding. Showers and thunderstorms reinvigorating across the area Tuesday afternoon will result in a heightened flash flood risk through Tuesday evening. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
