* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southeastern Dona Ana County in south central New Mexico... Southwestern Otero County in south central New Mexico... El Paso County in western Texas... Northwestern Hudspeth County in western Texas...
* WHEN...Until 415 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 316 PM MDT, Thunderstorms with heavy rainfall rates have started breaking out across the El Paso area. This first round is fairly fast-moving, but may still produce minor flooding in low lying areas. Additional rounds of heavy rain are expected to lead to worse flooding heading into this evening. - Arroyos and low water crossings in and near Hueco Tanks and Franklin Mountains State Park may become inundated. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... El Paso, Mission Valley, Chaparral, Horizon City, Clint, Loma Linda, Hueco Tanks, Anthony, Desert Haven and Santa Teresa. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
