* Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern Livingston County in central Illinois... East Central La Salle County in north central Illinois... Southern Grundy County in northeastern Illinois...

* Until 345 AM CDT.

* At 1147 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms with rain rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour. Up to 2.5 inches has occurred so far just north of Streator. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Rapid-onset flooding of creeks, streams, drainage ditches, streets, underpasses, low-lying areas, and other poor drainage areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Streator, Marseilles, Dwight, Seneca, Gardner, Mazon, South Streator, Braceville, Grand Ridge, South Wilmington, Ransom, Kangley, Verona, Campus, Reddick, East Brooklyn and Kinsman.
