* WHEN...Until 900 PM CDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1159 AM CDT, various rainfall observations, automated river gauges, and ground-truth reports from observers indicated that at least 3 to 6 inches of rain had fallen within the area mainly over the last 24 to 48 hours, resulting in continued minor flooding along area creeks and rivers, and some rural roads. In most places, water levels should continue to very slowly recede through the rest of today, as water increasingly drains into more mainstem rivers such as the Solomon River. As a result, the Solomon River itself remains in separate Flood Warnings.
This areal Flood Advisory effectively replaces an areal Flood Warning in effect for the same area that expired at 12 PM CDT today. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Antelope Creek, West Marsh Creek, Buffalo Creek, Turkey Creek, Asher Creek, East Marsh Creek, Little Cheyenne Creek, Fifth Creek, Marsh Creek, Browns Creek, Salt Creek, Lost Creek, East Asher Creek, Fourth Creek, Plum Creek, Prairie Creek, Marshall Creek, Little Salt Creek, Rock Creek, West Rock Creek, Mulberry Creek, Dry Creek and West Asher Creek. - Some locations that could experience flooding include... Beloit, Asherville, Simpson, Randall, Scottsville and Victor. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
