* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...North Central Cochise County in southeastern Arizona... Southern Graham County in southeastern Arizona...
* WHEN...Until 330 AM MST.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 937 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Willcox and Bowie. - This includes the following highways... Interstate 10 between mile markers 355 and 373. Route 186 between mile markers 328 and 348. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
