* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...The island of Hawaii in Hawaii County...
* WHEN...Until 445 AM HST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in streams. Water over roadways. River or stream flows are elevated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 123 AM HST, Doppler radar indicated moderate rain over Hilo, Hamakua, Kohala and Kona districts. Minor flooding is ongoing due to rain bands associated with Hurricane Lala. Rain was falling at a rate of 0.5 to 1 inch per hour. Streams remain elevated across the area. Additional moderate rain is expected over the next few hours. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hilo, Kailua-Kona, Hawaiian Paradise Park, Captain Cook, Waikoloa Village, Kapaau, Honokaa, Pohakuloa Camp, Pohakuloa Training Area, Kamuela, Puuanahulu and Paauilo.
